I worked with an alcohol and beverage wholesaler in Switzerland, https://www.getränke.app, that needed an app to calculate their respective client’s monetary savings when using a mineral water machine as opposed to buying water bottles in bulk. Though the app is in German, we worked together in English to achieve the goal. Below illustrates the process for this project.
The Client
Oliver at Getränke.app creates a space for consumers to purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and machines for individual and company use in Switzerland.
The Problem
Oliver sought out my support in developing an app calculator feature that calculates the amount of savings someone will get when they use one of their offered water machines in lieu of packs of bottled water. He sent me a draft of what would need to be included in this calculator and the designated buttons. He wanted it to look more appealing and cohesive with Getränke.app’s brand identity.
The Solution
I noted the layout of the website, typography, and pinpointed the color scheme of grey, red, and green. I implemented these when keeping the draft in mind. I created a brief prototype that showcases the aspects of the draft in a visually appealing way. The link to the Figma prototype can be found when clicking on the photo to the left.
